Watford Borough Council proudly supports Watford's Great Big Green Week.

Great Big Green Week aims to be a fun and inclusive week of activities – with something for everyone – drawing attention to climate change and biodiversity, and connecting with these issues and actions locally. 

As a council we support Great Big Green Week by putting on a number of events, such as free film screenings at Watford Palace Theatre, children's book readings at Watford Library, Cassiobury Park litter picks, sustainability-focused networking events for local businesses and clothes swaps.

We look forward to working with Friends of the Earth on the 2025 Great Big Green Week, from the 7th-15th of June and will be updating this page with more information on the events the Council will be putting on.
