Direct Debit

You can set up a direct debit online.

Business rates can be paid by monthly instalments on the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th or 25th of every month. You can pay over 10 or 12 months.

However, if you prefer to make one annual payment for the year on 15th May or two half year payments, this can be arranged by contacting us.

Other ways to pay

Online: Pay by debit or credit card online.

Telephone: Telephone the 24 hour automated payment line on 01923 278 989 and quote the Payment Reference shown on your bill, the amount of your payment, and your debit or credit card number. You will need your account number and a pen to make a note of your receipt number when you call the telephone payment line.

Bank Transfer: Quote our Bank Sort Code 30-99-21, our Bank Account Number 04042285, and the Payment Reference shown on your bill.

Please don't forget the Council must receive your payments by the due dates.

Difficulty paying

If you are having difficulty paying your non domestic Rates, it is important that you contact the Council as soon as possible, to discuss payment arrangements.

The Council will take recovery action if payments are not received, this will result in the cancellation of the monthly payment facility and possible legal action, leading to additional costs relating to issuing a Court Summons and Bailiff Fees.
