Fly tipping on private land
The removal of fly tipping or dumped rubbish on private land (for example in a front/rear garden or land attached to property) is the responsibility of the owner/occupier.
We'll take action against the owner/occupier if the site is an eyesore, or is an environmental or health hazard. We will carry out a site inspection and can serve the person responsible with a formal notice, asking them to remove the waste.
