Petitions

Submit or view online petitions

The council welcomes petitions and recognises that they are one way people can let us know about their concerns.

Petitions can be submitted online and paper petitions are also accepted. All petitions, in whichever format they are submitted, should include a clear and concise statement covering the subject of the petition and what actions the petitioners wish the council to take.

All of the requirements for petitions can be found in the petition scheme (PDF 227kB) which should be read before a petition is submitted, either online or on paper. If you have any questions, please contact Democratic Services.

The register of petitions

The register of petitions shows those petitions which have been received by Watford Borough Council for consideration by Council, Cabinet or other committees.

Further information about the petition can be found in the minutes of the meeting when it was considered. Links have been provided in the table to the relevant page on the website.
