Remove any plastic wrapping and free gifts from newspapers, magazines and flyers. These should go in your black bin. Leftover food/food residue should be removed before placing in your recycling bin

Put shredded paper into a paper bag or envelope to stop it blowing away. Wrapping paper - if it bounces back after being scrunched, it cannot be recycled
