Tenancy strategy
The aims of the the Tenancy Strategy (PDF 3.82MB) are to:
- Provide guidance to registered providers on making the very best of Watford's affordable homes for rent and on devising their tenancy policies
- Produce an offer to registered providers to improve partnership working
- Support and maximise the development of new affordable housing in Watford in order to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of groups
- Ensure that prospective tenants receive a full range of advice and information on what they should expect when renting a home from a registered provider
- Ensure that vulnerable groups have access to secure accommodation on a long-term basis
