This is an open forum and a fantastic opportunity to examine and question the council on their new Environment Strategy and Delivery Plan for Watford. The understand the importance of hearing the contributions and feedback of Watford residents, and hope to see as many of you there as possible.
Watford’s Environment Strategy sets out what Watford Borough Council is planning to achieve to address the climate and ecological emergency over the next seven years, including our goals to achieve net zero carbon by 2030. The Delivery Plan is a working document, and will be a rolling two-year plan, which sets out exactly how we will achieve our goals with specific actions.
Councillor Ian Stotesbury is the council’s Portfolio Holder for Transport and Sustainability, and is a key architect of Watford’s Environment Strategy.
Susheel Rao is Watford Borough Council’s Sustainability Officer, with over 20 years’ experience in the field and a wealth of knowledge on environmental issues. She is the primary author of Watford’s Environment Strategy and Delivery Plan.
