Over the Easter weekend (7-10 April inclusive), Network Rail is carrying out an £88million programme of essential engineering works across the rail network.
These improvements will impact a number of routes on the London Northwestern Railway / West Midlands Railway network as follows:
- London Euston – Tring - Milton Keynes Central: No trains will run across the entire Easter weekend (April 7-10) due to Network Rail engineering work. Passengers are advised to use alternative routes
- Stafford – Crewe: Buses replace trains across the entire Easter weekend (April 7-10) due to Network Rail engineering work. Amended timetables will be in operation
- St Albans Abbey – Watford Junction: Buses replace trains across the entire Easter weekend (April 7-10) due to Network Rail engineering work
- Lichfield Trent Valley – Birmingham New Street: Buses replace trains across the entire Easter weekend (April 7-10) due to Network Rail engineering work
