From 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 the price per pole for an allotment plot will increase to £8.50 per pole.
An invoice will be sent to you in April 2024 as normal, it will detail the payment procedure you should follow by Tuesday 30 April 2024.

Following last year's Allotment Forum we said we would be updating the tenancy agreement to introduce a change to the payment/billing date from the 1 April to January each year plus update the rules to support environmental issues. We have now completed that work and produced a new draft tenancy agreement, with supporting rules and general information.
We will summarise the changes at the next Allotment Forum on 27 February 2024 and the draft agreement will be on a link on the Watford Borough Council website in January for you to view.
To implement the new agreement we need to terminate your current agreement(s), and we have to give you 12 months notice of this. Consequently, attached to this letter is the required notice to quit to terminate your current tenancy agreement. Please sign and return this notice.
During 2024, and after the Allotment Forum, we will be sending you new tenancy agreements for your current plot(s) to sign and return to Veolia to ensure you have ongoing use of your plot from the 15 January 2025.
