Twenty museums across Hertfordshire have submitted items to compete for the prestigious title of Hertfordshire Object of the Year 2024
Among the impressive submissions is Watford Museum's Longland’s Love Token. Crafted by the skilled hands of local cobbler William Longland, this timeless piece embodies love and artistry. The token, intricately inscribed with the beaded initials of William and his beloved wife, Bessie, stands as a symbol of enduring love.

The community is invited to share the excitement and support for Watford Museum and Longland’s Love Token.
Voting closes on 15 February and the winner will be announced at the annual Hertfordshire Museum Awards in the evening.
