One of the largest free UK Jazz festivals will be returning to Watford this summer and it will feature some of the best internationally acclaimed musicians, bands and dancers...
The Big Jiveswing Festival, organised by Jiveswing.com and Watford Borough Council, is now running its 11th year, and it will be in Cassiobury Park once again on Sunday 28 July from 12pm-6pm. The award-winning park will host incredible acts as well as live cabarets, dance classes for children and adults, professional dance displays, vintage cloth stalls, plus much more.
There will also be a variety of other food and drink vendors on site, as well as an area especially for children to enjoy with popular rides, ice cream, popcorn and candy floss stalls.
Paul Stacey, Associate Director of Environment and Communities at Watford Borough Council, said: “It is really important that the council provides a range of free events that bring our community together. Jiveswing gets bigger and better every year, and we know how much joy it brings to everyone who comes to experience the captivating acts and particularly to those who get involved.”
JiveSwing.Com spokeswoman, Charlotte Middlemiss said: “We are so excited to be working with the council for the 11th year of organising the JiveSwing Festival. It’s been nice to see so many people from the local community and around the UK, coming together for this festival each year.”
