Over £4,000 was raised to support local causes in Watford...
On Monday 1 July, Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor and Luther Blissett OBE DL, hosted the fourth Watford Community Cup Golf Tournament, supported by Everyone Active, Watford & Three Rivers Trust (W3RT), The Formers Player Club and Watford Council.
This event, generously sponsored by Veolia UK, raised over £4,000 for the Watford Community Fund, which is providing crucial support to charities across our town, assisting residents with the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Held at the West Herts Golf Club, the tournament brought together community members, local businesses, and dedicated supporters for a day of fun, competition, and charity. The funds raised will significantly bolster the Watford Community Fund, which plays a vital role in supporting local charities that are working tirelessly to aid individuals and families facing financial challenges.
