Watford Borough Council is excited to announce the return of Hertfordshire's largest FREE fireworks display at Cassiobury Park on Saturday 2 November.
This annual event promises to be an unforgettable evening of family fun, music, and spectacular fireworks.
The festivities will kick off at 6pm with live music on stage, hosted by Vibe 107.6FM. Popular local band ‘Pat and the Butchers’ will perform, keeping the crowd entertained before the fireworks display lights up the sky at 7:30pm.
There’s plenty to do before the big show! Families can enjoy a range of activities including kiddies' funfair rides, bungee trampolines, and a bouncy slide. A selection of food and drink outlets will be available, offering treats to keep everyone fuelled throughout the evening.
We are also delighted to have Watford Lions Club and other volunteers collecting donations for local charities. Please give generously as 100% of your donations will go to these worthy causes. Additionally, why not consider volunteering your time to shake a charity collection bucket whilst seeing the spectacular fireworks. If you can’t make it or miss the collectors on the night, you can still show your support by donating via our dedicated JustGiving page.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: “Join us at Cassiobury Park for the Bonfire Night fireworks. This fantastic event is free for everyone, making it accessible to all members of our community. If you can, please consider making a donation or volunteering as a bucket shaker, as every contribution helps support local initiatives and enhances future events. I hope to see you there!”
Please be advised there will be no parking in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, except for a limited number of blue badge spaces (first come, first served). Parking restrictions will be in place on surrounding roads from 7am to 11pm. If possible visitors are advised to alternative modes of transport, such as public transport or are convenient Beryl Bikes.
