This is an exciting opportunity generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Throughout this project, Watford has engaged with a range of community groups, schools and businesses to engage them and build upon the art and heritage of the river.

Part of this project also saw two writers deliver writing and poetry workshops with two different groups, and then deliver two pieces of writing about the River Colne.

Watford are looking for artists with experience in dealing with public art pieces and especially artists who are looking to work sustainably and, where possible, sourcing from local materials.

The deadline for applications is set for Thursday 9 January 2025. To apply, please email: lewis.butler@watford.gov.uk. Any further questions or queries are welcome as well.
