Cassiobury Park activities

Our paddling pools are free to all. The water play park is suitable for kids of all ages and abilities, with two splash pools, as well as splash pads, water jets and fountains. There are also changing facilities, toilets and cafe kiosk on site.

Splash Pool opening times for 2025:

• Open from Saturday 5 April to Monday 21 April for the Easter holidays.
• Temporarily closed from Monday 21 April to Friday 23rd May.
• Open from Saturday 24 May to Sunday 7th September.

Donations

The council is seeking donations to help keep the paddling pools open and free to use. There is an option to make a donation when you book. Follow the steps in the 'how to book guide' or via the below.

Session times and entry

Responding to public feedback, session lengths have been increased, giving families more time to enjoy the water. The new 2025 session times are:

• 10:00 – 11:30 (1 hour and 30 mins)
• 12:00 – 13:30 (1 hour and 30 mins)
• 14:00 – 15:30 (1 hour and 30 mins)
• 16:00 – 17:15 (75 mins)
• 17:45 – 19:00 (75 mins)

To improve the visitor experience, please also note:

• The 50/50 entry split returns, with 135 places per session available via the booking app, and 135 walk-in spaces offered on a first-come, first-served basis for each session.
• To ensure fairer access for all, families will only be able to book one session per day, helping to prevent sessions from being blocked out and allowing more people to enjoy the facility.
• Visitors who attend a pre-booked session are welcome to wait and join another session later in the day if space is available.

How to book on the app

1. Download the Everyone Active App
2. Select your home centre. This can be done by selecting the three lines at the top left-hand side of the screen. Select “My Clubs” and click the ‘+’ in the top right-hand corner to search for ‘Cassiobury Park Paddling Pools’
3. Click the ‘Swimming’ menu item
4. Click the ‘Splash Pad’ menu item
5. Choose the time and day you wish to book your session for
6. When the option to book is selected, you will be prompted to login if you haven’t already
7. If you do not know your login credentials, please select ‘forgotten my password’
8. Review your booking details and tap the green “BOOK” button to confirm your reservation
