Statement of community involvement
The statement of community involvement sets out how communities, local businesses and other stakeholders can be involved in the planning process.
It guides the council's approach to stakeholder engagement with the Local Plan and other planning policy documents, neighbourhood plans and development management decisions.
The statement of community involvement was updated in October 2020 to consider the need for new approaches to consultation, as highlighted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
