Watford Borough Council is developing a new 10-year Greenspace Strategy with the support of experts, Arkwood. The Strategy will help us shape the future of Watford’s rich and varied greenspaces for the whole community to enjoy but we need your help.

Watford’s greenspaces matter

In our recent resident survey, you told us parks and open spaces are one of the things that matter most to you . Watford is home to some of the best parks and greenspaces in the country and we work hard to make this happen. Having a long-term strategy guided by you means we can keep up the good work, focusing resource where it is most needed. Quality parks and greenspaces are important to health, wellbeing, the environment and nature, which is why they are, and always will be, one of our top priorities.

Tell us what your greenspaces mean to you

Complete a short questionnaire or pop along to one of our events to tell us about how you use your greenspaces, what you like most about them and what you see for their future.

Your experiences and ideas about Watford’s greenspaces will help shape them for the future. The new Strategy will be launched in spring 2025 and you can keep up with its progress by following watfordcouncil on Facebook or Instagram, or tuning into the news section.
