Practical Driving Test and Medical
Practical driving test
Applicants will need to book their own driving assessment with one of the following approved providers:
A pass certificate for a driving assessment is valid for one year.
Medical
You will need to book your medical with your GP or another GP at the same practice. Take along the medical form (PDF 606 kB) to your appointment for your GP to complete. A medical is valid for six months. We can't accept a medical from a GP at a practice you are not registered with.
Booking an appointment
After you have completed the Knowledge Test, Practical Driving Test and Medical Form, you can book an appointment to submit your application. You cannot book before this.
You will need to complete the next two stages (application form and supporting documents) at least two days before your appointment.
