Online Application
After you have booked an appointment with us online, you can complete our online application form. You will need to provide proof of your right to work in the UK. This could be:
- An upload of your UK or Irish passport
- Your 9-digit ‘share code’ provided by the Home Office
Depending on your nationality and immigration status, further documents may be required. Guidance is available within the form.
You will also need to upload:
- A copy of your DVLA photo card, front and back
- One other form of identification which must state your full name and address, and must have been sent to you through the post, such as a bank statement or utility bill
- A certificate of good conduct if you have spent three continuous months or more living outside the UK

If you have held a licence from Watford Borough Council or any other authority within the last 12 months, you will need a tax check code from GOV.UK.
