How to apply to HomeLet

To apply for Watford HomeLet you will need to complete the council's Housing Advice and Homelessness Enquiry Form. After downloading the form, please complete it, save it and email it to the council using this email address: housingief@watford.gov.uk.

We will contact you within 5 working days to ask you to come and see us and discuss your application further.

The main requirements for applying for Watford HomeLet are that you need to have a local connection with Watford and be in housing need.

Types of documents you need to bring to your appointment
For all members of your household	Identification documents such as your Passport, Driving Licence and Birth Certificate
If you and or your partner will be the tenant(s)	Proof of current income: 3 monthly wage slips, or 8 weekly wage slips and/or benefit letters Bank statements for the last 3 months A Utility bill (if applicable) Confirmation of your local connection to Watford
