During the tenancy
If problems arise, during your tenancy, we would encourage you to discuss the issues with your landlord directly and try to resolve them.
If you are unable to resolve the matter between yourselves, we are available to provide advice and depending on the problems, may be able to assist.
Problems should be dealt with immediately and not left until they are beyond resolving.
You must always adhere to the conditions of the tenancy agreement.
If your circumstances change and this is likely to impact on your income or housing requirements, please let the Council and landlord know as early as possible.
If you wish to leave the property, you will need to give the appropriate notice as set out in your tenancy agreement.
You should talk to your landlord before giving notice and must ensure you have somewhere to move to.
